Amanda McPherson is Vice-President, Global Fixed Income — Credit at CIBC Asset Management.

Amanda McPherson leads a team of credit analysts that is responsible for all investment-grade fixed income research. She also has coverage for various sectors in the investment grade corporate bond universe, contributes to idea generation for portfolios, and is a member of our Investment Grade and High-Yield Credit Committees. Amanda is responsible for evolving our proprietary credit research platform.

Prior to joining CIBC Asset Management in 2004, Ms. McPherson was Managing Director at BMO Nesbitt Burns, and Director, Private Placements at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

Ms. McPherson holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University. She is also a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto.
